The Israeli occupation army is preparing to storm the Indonesian hospital in the Gaza Strip in the coming hours, under the pretext of the presence of weapons and tunnels under the Palestinian hospitals located in northern and central Gaza.
Palestinian sources reported that the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip was evacuated of all patients and displaced persons, after the Israeli occupation army threatened to bomb anyone inside the hospital.
Earlier, the Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir Al-Bursh, said that the “Israeli” occupation forces have been imposing a siege on the “Indonesian” since Monday morning.
Al-Barsh added, in his statements: “The occupation destroyed some of the buildings of the Indonesian Hospital, and the other buildings were subject to sniper fire.”
Al-Barsh pointed out that there are 650 wounded people in the hospital, although its capacity is only 140 beds, and that there are more than 100 patients who need urgent surgeries, and the medical staff is limited.
He stated that the Israeli forces bombed the hospital’s clinics and surgeries floor and destroyed the equipment, and the bodies were piled up in the hospital and its courtyard, considering that targeting the “Indonesian” meant the cessation of all health services in the northern regions.
He stated that Israeli snipers were on top of all the buildings surrounding the hospital and shooting everyone who moved around it.
