Russian oil exports to Asia fall to their lowest level since March

And the agency “Bloomberg” said that Russian oil exports to Asia amounted to less than two million barrels per day in the week ending August 12, the lowest level since last March.

India and China were among the largest importers of Russian crude in recent months, taking advantage of discounts offered by Moscow to oil buyers, in order to face Western sanctions.

The agency noted that Russia is still expanding into new markets for its crude oil exports, as tankers have started heading towards Sri Lanka and Egypt.
