Russian President threatens NATO countries with nuclear war

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Western countries that a nuclear war could break out if NATO forces join the war in Ukraine.

According to the World News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his annual address to the parliament that Russia will not allow anyone to interfere in its internal affairs.

President Putin added that the majority of Russians support special military operations in Ukraine. The combat capabilities of the armed forces have increased manifold. Russian troops are advancing confidently and liberating new territories.

The Russian President, while rejecting the demand of the French counterpart to deploy NATO troops in Ukraine, has warned that if NATO countries send troops to Ukraine, it could lead to a nuclear war in the region.

It should be remembered that on February 24, 2022, Russian troops entered Ukraine and since then the war of attrition between the two countries has been going on, in which there has been a large loss of life and property.

Russia has imposed this war in response to Ukraine’s request to join NATO. Russia considers the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO, including Ukraine, as a threat to its integrity.

Russia is of the view that the accession of these countries to NATO countries will open the way for NATO forces to enter Russia and the Western alliance is giving membership to these countries only to attack Russia.
