SYDNEY, January 18. /TASS/. Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev beat Finn Emil Ruusuvuori in the second round match of the Australian Open. The tournament takes place in Melbourne.

The meeting ended with a score of 3:6, 6:7 (1:7), 6:4, 7:6 (7:1), 6:0 in favor of Medvedev, seeded third in the tournament. In the third round, the Russian will play with Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.
