Warsaw – Russian tennis player Vera Zvonarewa has been refused entry to Poland for reasons of state and public security ahead of next week’s WTA tournament in Warsaw. The 38-year-old flew from Belgrade to the Polish capital on Friday, but was diverted to Podgorica following being detained in the transit zone. The reason is apparently the Russian war of aggression once morest Ukraine since February 2022.
