The press service of the Australian Open admired the victory of Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva in the second round of the tournament.
On Wednesday, 16-year-old Andreeva defeated world number six Ons Jabeur from Tunisia.
– A star is born! Andreeva stunned Jabeur, beating her 6:0, 6:2, and advanced to the third round! – the tournament organizers said in a statement.
In the third round of the Australian Open, the Russian tennis player will meet with the representative of France, Diane Parry.
