The Russian occupation is now making it impossible to control important nodes in the natural gas network in the Luhansk region, it said.

The Russian energy company Gazprom, meanwhile, said the Ukrainians had been able to work undisturbed until recently.

The flow is said to have been reduced earlier this morning. According to the information, almost a third of the natural gas flows towards Western Europe via the eastern Ukrainian route. The main line is the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, which runs through the Baltic Sea.
