Ryan Clark’s ‘The Pivot’ Podcast Lands Multi-Year Netflix Deal

Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor are bringing their hit digital show “The Pivot” to Netflix in a multi-year partnership starting September 8, 2026. Distributed through Clark’s Pivot25 production company, the deal follows Clark’s high-profile July 2026 firing from ESPN and expands the podcast’s reach onto a major streaming platform.

Since launching in 2022 after Crowder and Taylor split from Brandon Marshall’s “I Am Athlete,” the show has amassed over 500 episodes and billions of views on YouTube.

The Streaming Wars Extend to Sports Audio and Video

For Netflix, adding Clark, Crowder, and Taylor builds on an existing sports-adjacent roster that already features former NFL star Michael Irvin, alongside other prominent interview programs like “The Breakfast Club,” “Joe And Jada,” and “On Purpose With Jay Shetty.”

Technical and distribution pipelines remain flexible. While Netflix gains first dibs on fresh content and exclusive bonus cuts via Pivot25, the core show will stay fully available across YouTube and traditional audio streaming platforms. Clark emphasized this multi-platform approach on social media, writing on Instagram, “This one is because of you,” while confirming that the show’s core accessibility remains intact.

From Network Layoffs to Independent Scale

The partnership arrives roughly a month after Clark exited ESPN in late July 2026 after more than a decade at the network. Unlike other talent cuts during that window, Clark’s dismissal made waves across sports media because it occurred live mid-taping during a segment of “NFL Live.”

Discussing the exit on his podcast, Clark pointedly remarked that network cuts served as camouflage for a planned departure. As noted by Boardroom, Clark reflected on the transition by stating, “I’ve gained a new perspective: passion over platform, and people over perception.”

What Comes Next for Pivot25

The production entity will handle exclusive bonus drops designed specifically for Netflix subscribers. As Taylor, Clark, and Crowder noted in a promotional video celebrating the milestone, “The Pivot” can no longer just “chill” now that it sits inside the Netflix ecosystem.
