Saad Hariri is in Beirut to commemorate the assassination of his father, without launching political positions

Beirut – “Al-Quds Al-Arabi”:

After an absence of about a year, President Saad Hariri arrived in Beirut on Sunday evening to commemorate the assassination of his father, Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, on February 14, in Martyrs’ Square, with the participation of supporters of the “Future Movement”, who will carry out a loyalty stand at the shrine in the center of the capital, on Tuesday noon, without firing. Any political position, but silence is more eloquent than words, as those close to Hariri say.

Hariri is expected to meet a number of current and former deputies and the recently elected mufti of the regions. His arrival was preceded by preparations made by the former MP, Bahia Hariri, to coordinate participation in the anniversary, where she said to the delegations, “The more time passes, the more we see how great the loss is with his assassination, because whoever killed Rafik Hariri wanted to kill the country, his role, and his job, but Rafik Hariri remains in the conscience of the people, and no one can extract him from their hearts.”

And she believed, “President Saad Hariri’s suspension of political action was not a suspension of action in public affairs, and he did not, and will not, leave the people.”

As in Beirut, so too in the United States of America, where Bahaa Hariri is preparing to commemorate his father at the Rafic Hariri Center in Washington.

It was reported that President Fouad Siniora, who is in disagreement with Saad Hariri, will organize a political meeting on the anniversary of the assassination at the Movenpick Hotel, with the participation of former Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa.
