Sacred Music from Both Sides of the Atlantic

This also applies to those musical guests who, tomorrow, Sunday (7 p.m., Stadtpfarrkirche Pregarten), together with the St. Anna choir community, will perform sacred choral music from four centuries and two continents.

European choral works by Bach, Bruckner and Vivaldi meet musical rarities by their Latin American composer colleagues. The soloists are José María López Valencia (tenor/Mexico) and Omar Padilla (organ/Mexico). A wind quartet from the Musikverein Pregarten will also be there – and of course the St. Anna Choir under the direction of Florian Eschelmüller. Pastor August Aichhorn gives spiritual impulses to music.

The visitors’ voluntary donations benefit a social project for children and young people in Mexico City.
