Sweeping checks start from today auditors of the tax office in order to determine whether professionals from 35 industries who are required to have POS installed and accept card transactions are compliant. Taxis, kiosks, street markets, theaters, cinemas, real estate agencies and a number of other professional branches they will be targeted by the tax authorities if they do not have a POS payment machine to accept card transactions.

The fines

The fines are imposed by decision of the competent body of the Service to which the audit bodies that found the violation are subordinate. Also, the failure to submit a statement of correction in cases of deactivation of a Professional Account, it is understood as non-declaration of a professional account and will also be enforced a fine of 1,000 euros. Those who delay to declare their business account will be fined 100 euros.
