Bengaluru: The Pakistani player grabbed the Indian coach in the match once morest India in the SAFF Football Championship. The controversial scenes took place in the 44th minute of the first half. Indian captain Chhetri’s pressure got the result. As Chhetri ran in, the goalkeeper tried to clear the ball but to no avail. Catching the ball at his feet, Chhetri hit the net with ease. Chhetri’s second goal was from the penalty in the 16th minute.

With this, Chhetri’s tally has increased to 89 goals in the Indian jersey. This will be India’s first match in SAF Championship Group A. Nepal and Kuwait are the other teams in the group.
