Sagrada Esperança from Lunda-Norte played a goalless draw yesterday with SOAR from Guinea Bissau, in the city of Bouaké, in Cotê D’Ivoire. In the match for the fifth round of group B of the Confederation Cup, the Lundas managed to get a point away from home. Thus, the Angolan team continues to fight for a place in the other phase, as it occupies third place with five points.

Because of this, the Lundas still have hope, as they need more or less two or three points to secure the pass. In the first leg, in Luanda, the Angolan ambassador defeated the Guinean team by two unanswered balls. Despite the draw, continuing to work is the word of honor among the Lundas, because there are more games to come.

Away from home, the Angolan ambassador didn’t do much because of what the opponent showed on the field. In the other match, Libya’s Abu Salim and Zamalek also played out a goalless draw yesterday in the city of Tripoli. In the league table, the Egyptian team leads the group with 13 points, while the Libyans occupy second place with nine points. Everything indicates that the Angolan representative and the Guinean have little chance of reaching the other stage of the African club competition.
