The teacher in question allegedly used his students’ artwork to sell sweaters, coffee mugs printed with the artwork in question, as well as iPhone cases. The students made the astonishing discovery using a search engine, by entering the name of their teacher, earlier this week.

These products are on sale on various websites at a cost of $35 to $150.

«Il [son fils] was completely surprised. He [son fils] was shocked. He and the other students were wondering: “where is my money?” This is a form of financial exploitation of children. He did all this while hiding the practice, without the students, parents or school knowing. It’s terrible and amazing that someone could do this to students,” comments the parent of a student, Joël Debellefeuille.

The Lester-B.-Pearson School Service Center refuses to confirm whether the teacher was suspended.
