Saint-Nicolas Procession in Liège: Route and Schedule

Following erroneous information that reached us, we announced it for yesterday. And, as the University of Liège points out, the traditional procession is normally held every 1st Monday in December. However, after the evening at the Droixhe hardware hall the day before, the students will parade this… Tuesday in the streets of the city center on the occasion of Saint-Nicolas. The procession will start at 12 p.m. from Boulevard la Constitution and arrive at Place du XX Août at 3:30 p.m. for traditional folk songs.
The after-procession will follow with sound until 9 p.m.

The details of the route are as follows: boulevard de la Constitution, boulevard de l’Est, Pont St-Nicolas roundabout, rue Surlet, place Delcour, rue Méan, place Sylvain Dupuis, rue Grétry, quai Churchill, quai Marcellis, Albert 1st bridge, Frère Orban boulevard, Paul Van Hoegaarden quay, Kennedy bridge, Van Beneden quay, Passerelle Saucy and Place Cockerill.
