Fujairah: The first flight of budget airline Salam Air took off from Fujairah airport at 10.38 am on Wednesday. The flight departed from Muscat and landed at Fujairah airport at 8.45 am with 27 crew including Air Chief Executive Officer Captain Muhammad Ahmed. The aircraft was received with a water salute.
The passengers were given a warm welcome by the airport’s Director General Captain Ismail Al Balushi. At 10.38 the flight returned with 97 passengers. Salam Air operates four services on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9.40 am and 8.10 pm. Service to Thiruvananthapuram to Kerala.
