Young actress Salma Abu Deif will experience absolute heroism for the first time on the screen next Ramadan, through the series “Highest Viewing Rate,” based on a true story.
Salma plays the role of a girl who belongs to a simple family, who has an obsession with the “Tik Tok” application, and because of it she falls into many crises and problems. The work is directed by Yasmine Ahmed Kamel, with a screenplay and dialogue by Samar Taher.
Salma Abu Deif said that she considers work a challenge for her. Because the role is difficult and will surprise the audience with the nature of the character, and she hopes that it will be accepted by the viewer when it is shown during Ramadan, the most important dramatic season.
She expressed her happiness with the good reactions to her role in the series “Between the Lines”, which is currently being shown on one of the platforms with the participation of Saba Mubarak, Ahmed Fahmy and Mohamed Alaa, during which she presents a young media personality, who engages in a fierce competition, after matters worsen as a result of a murder, and the work is based on a work. Abu Deif believes that digital platforms have opened new doors and provided opportunities for many young faces in the field of writing, acting and directing, and given the opportunity to star to important names who were far from the forefront. She explained that she was happy with her cinematic experience, “A Nose and Three Eyes,” which was shown in Egypt and the Gulf countries recently.
