The defending champion won Sunday’s third quarter-final match against Fehervar 2-1 (0:0,0:0,1:1;1:0) after extra time and thus leads the “best of seven” series with 3 :0. Salzburg have match puck in Szekesfehervar on Tuesday. KAC won 4:3 (1:1,0:0,3:2) at VSV and is thus 2:1 ahead, as are the Vienna Capitals against Innsbruck and Linz against HCB Südtirol.
