The election campaign ended on Friday, on Saturday things remained politically quiet in Salzburg. The parties and their top candidates apparently practiced inner contemplation before the long election Sunday. The starting position before the third – and last – state election this year following Lower Austria and Carinthia is relatively uncertain. Because only a few surveys were published – and many of them did not meet the quality criteria of the Association of Market Research in terms of the survey method and the number of respondents.
