Nicole Heesters (86) will take part in “Jedermann” at this year’s Salzburg Festival. The former paramour returns to the cathedral square as “everyone’s” mother. Cornelia Froboess was announced for this role in the 2023 program. Due to a bereavement in the closest family circle, Froboess felt compelled to give up the role with great regret, the festival informed in a broadcast on Thursday.
