SALZBURG – A 27-year-old Somali man was sentenced to life in prison at the Salzburg District Court on Wednesday night for murder and attempted murder. At about 1 a.m. on February 1, 2024, the defendant stabbed a compatriot with a knife on the street in the Lehn district of Salzburg. According to prosecutors, he wanted to kill another man. The verdict is not yet final.
