After the announcement of your New Environmental Strategy As of September 2022, Samsung has been working closely with startups to invest in and develop innovative technologies that can help the planet. And to further these efforts, Samsung and XTC have announced the Samsung Climate & Circularity Tech Challenge. Focused on the circular economy and climate change, the challenge seeks to identify new solutions that are in line with the values ​​of Samsung’s New Environmental Strategy.

Entrants are encouraged to submit ideas that address the circularity of resources related not only to the processing, sorting and extraction phases, but also to innovations related to climate change with regard to measuring, managing, reducing and offsetting carbon emissions. Selected entries may be considered for implementation across Samsung’s wide range of products and associated manufacturing processes.

The Samsung Climate & Circularity Tech Challenge is open to founders and innovators of technology for good. In addition to having the opportunity to see their ideas in the next generation of home appliances, outstanding entrants will receive global exposure as well as the potential for strategic corporate investments and partnerships. The winning entries will also feature at the Samsung expo at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, USA.
