Initiative aims to encourage the correct disposal of electronic devices and now has more product options that may be worth special discounts
Samsung has just expanded its sustainable disposal program: Eco Troca1. Launched this year, the initiative aims to encourage the correct disposal of household appliances and electronics, giving consumers the possibility to exchange their equipment – of any brand and in any condition – for a discount coupon for the purchase of a new product at the official store of Samsung.
“The expansion of Eco Troca walks in synergy with Samsung’s commitment to preserving the environment and sustainable development, including our line of monitors and the latest category of brand appliances, dishwashers. Our mission is always to bring new technologies to people’s lives with the least possible environmental impact”, reinforced Thiago César, marketing director of the Consumer Electronics division of Samsung Brazil.
In the first phase, the program accepted refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioning and TVs, providing discount vouchers of up to 5,000 reais depending on the product. Now Eco Troca also accepts dishwashers and monitors, bringing more alternatives for those who want to renovate home appliances and still help the environment. Discounts are up to R$700.00 for dishwashers and up to R$1,200 for monitors.
To participate, simply access and obtain the discount coupon at the official Samsung store after scheduling the collection of the old large product. In the case of monitors, the consumer will receive information about shipping by mail or delivery at collection points.

When purchasing a Samsung product listed on the Program’s website, you can earn discounts by delivering your old product (Ecotroca Program), exclusively through the sales channel and Samsung Online Store App available for Android. The discount is limited to one purchase per CPF. The withdrawal of the old product and the delivery of the new one must be at the same address. For TV, air conditioning, dishwasher and monitor, the old product must be uninstalled at the time of removal. The discount will only be valid if the old product is delivered to Samsung, if the old product is not delivered to Samsung, the value originally assigned as a discount must be paid by the consumer.
