The site Galaxy Jump 3 is the latest and greatest smartphone 5G for professional customers on the network KT according to Samsung South Korea – but this is also clearly the device leaked under the name Galaxy M44 before its launch.
The main clue to its alternate identity is found in the Jump 3’s model number (SM-M446KZKAKTC), and it is therefore the mysterious new device from Samsung, the Snapdragon 888 from Samsung. The OEM does not directly mention the SoC, although the specifications for “CPU speed” (2.84 GHz, 2.4 GHz or 1.8 GHz spread across 8 cores), as listed on the page of its new product, give an idea of the situation.
The Galaxy M44 even has an FHD+ screen 120Hz just like the Galaxy S21in which the 888 debuted – therefore, it’s somewhat of a shame that it comes with an IPS display with a waterdrop notch, not to mention a unique 6GB RAM setup /128 GB of internal storage.
The M44 Jump 3 features a vanilla processor S21-5,000 mAh, and even has a triple rear camera back. But again, only one of them contains a decent camera of 50MP the others being occupied by a 2MP sensor each.
Given its status as an enterprise device, the smartphone does not currently have an individual price tag. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see what the price of such a device would be on the retail market in the near future. For comparison, a 6GB M34 5G M34 5G (with an AMOLED display) started at INR 24,499 when it launched in India (although it is discounted of 32% today (November 11, 2023) on Amazon).
