Samsung has officially confirmed a virtual hardware event for August 27, 2026. The tech conglomerate will reveal the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family during the broadcast.
Industry reporting indicates the device is the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S26 FE. This marks the tech giant’s third hardware showcase of the year, following February’s Galaxy S26 launch and July’s foldable debut.

The manufacturer stopped short of explicitly naming the handset in its initial teaser. However, company statements highlight that the device will bring flagship Galaxy S26 experiences—ranging from camera capabilities to built-in AI tools—to a wider audience.
The hardware is confirmed to ship with the newest version of Samsung’s custom operating system layer. According to coverage from Gadgets360, this points toward Android 17-based One UI 9. This software architecture was initially deployed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8 last month.
