The other day, we reported that Samsung would soon be releasing new entry-level Android tablets, the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+, but it was reported that they were quietly launched in India without any press release. Last time, there was a leak from Samsung Guatemala’s official website, so it seems that it will be released in markets other than India, but it is currently unknown when it will be released globally. The difference between the two is not only the display size, but also the CPU, RAM, storage configuration, etc. The Galaxy Tab A9 is an 8.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1,340 x 800 and a 60Hz refresh rate. The chipset is MediaTek Helio G99, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, 8MP rear camera with AF, 2MP front camera, and 5,100mAh battery. In addition, it seems that there is a 5G compatible version in India. The Galaxy Tab A9 is priced at around $156 for the Wi-Fi model and around $192 for the 5G version. The other Galaxy Tab A9+ has an 11-inch LCD display with 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It has a Snapdragon 695 CPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with AF and a 2M front camera. There is also a 5G compatible model of the Galaxy Tab A9+, which you can choose between 64GB storage and 128GB storage. Previous leaks suggested a battery capacity of 7,040mAh, but Amazon’s spec sheet says it’s 5,100mAh, which is no different from the A9, so this listing may be incorrect. The price of the Galaxy Tab A9+ is approximately $252 for the Wi-Fi model with 128GB storage, $276 for the 5G model with 64GB storage, and the price of the 128GB storage is unknown.
