Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 should be faster than Galaxy S23

Samsung is expected to revamp its lineup of tablets later this year, with the forthcoming launch of the Galaxy Tab S9 family. For now, the information that has emerged about it shows a high-end performance, superior even to the Galaxy S23 series.

According to the leaker @Tech_Reve, a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra unit, whose model was the SM-X916B, passed Geekbench and showed information about its performance. As you can see in the image below, the device would have scored 2,054 pointsa with a core and 5,426 points in multi-core.

If the numbers are correct, it is possible to expect that the series of future tablets will be able to surpass the current top of the line cell phones, including the Galaxy S23 Ultra, in performance. The trend is also towards superior practical results in mobile games, which should sustain high refresh rates for a longer period of time.

Recent rumors point to the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform for Galaxy within the upcoming series of tablets. The processors shown on Geekbench reinforce this possibility.

In other specs, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is expected to contain an 11,200 mAh battery, a newer software version and IP68 certification, to ensure a design with resistance against dust and liquids.

The future Galaxy Tab S9 family is expected to launch in the second half of this year, along with the brand’s upcoming foldables.
