With the advent of folding smartphones in Europe, everyone now agrees that the concept has proven itself. Democratization is already there, even if you need a relatively large budget to afford such devices. It is therefore through large-scale marketing operations that the best sales are played out, dominated, it seems, by the Korean giant Samsung. The company offers two flagship models at the moment: le Galaxy Z Fold 4which closes in the length, and the Galaxy Z Flip 4whose format is rather reminiscent of a good old GameBoy Advance SP.
It is this edition that Samsung promises on the occasion ofa new spot airing at the moment. We recognize a decor that is reminiscent of that of the Football World Cup, also currently in progress. We see mobiles replacing the spectators in the stands. When the hola, this well-known crowd movement, the Z Flips have the design adapted to participate… but not other mobile phones, resembling to be mistaken the high-end iPhones, without hinges. We thus recognize the notch at the top of the screen, even if it is actually a little smaller than the original.

Apple still does not offer a folding mobile on the market, so it’s a rather nicely done tackle that Samsung offers us here on video. But what society doesn’t show in this clip is that Cupertino is also developing its own flexible smartphone ! No one knows yet what the device might look like for the moment, however.
There are, however, a few details that we can be sure of. Already, we know that Apple masters the material necessary for the realization of a possible foldable iPhone, thanks to patents. These files are deposited with institutional organizations. With this, rumors regarding the creation of such a system have been swirling around for several years. Corridor noises that probably emanate from the premises of Apple and its employees.
Samsung may soon regret it
The arrival of a foldable iPhone might very quickly reshuffle the cards in the sector and this in a short time. Analysts who talk regarding this project are betting on an exit soon in 2024, a little later. But it is actually impossible to know precisely what Apple is preparing, because the company imposes very strict confidentiality rules on all of its employees…
