Samsung may launch new chargers at Galaxy S24 event

Samsung is expected to hold the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 17th and a new leak indicates that the South Korean will take advantage of the opportunity to announce two new chargers.

According to the well-known and reliable Roland Quandt, the first accessory will have a power of 50W and will have two USB-C outputs so that the user can use it with two devices.

The second option will be an update to the current 45W model. Therefore, this charger will have a single USB-C output and will probably have a design redesign to be thinner and lighter.

As much as they are new to Galaxy Unpacked, the two chargers still fall short of the expectations of Samsung users and fans, who long for 65W or even 100W fast charging.

Previous rumors even indicated that, this year, Samsung would finally adopt faster charging on the Galaxy S24 line, but it was all just rumors.

Sources who have access to Samsung’s plans also confided that the standard Galaxy S24 will not support 45W charging, being limited to the 25W option.

As there is still no comment from Samsung on the matter, we immediately point out that everything remains in the field of rumors.
