Samsung promotes webinar on new technologies for early diagnosis of diseases

With a focus on prostate diseases, renowned health professionals present the latest in imaging and biopsy exams

Samsung’s health division (Health and Medical Equipment) will hold a special webinar this Wednesday (April 19), at 9:00 am on Brasília time, on advances and some innovative techniques for prostate biopsy. The event will feature the presentation of respected professionals in the field such as Dr. Alexandre Borges, from the Radiology Department of the Campinas Medical Center – Próton Diagnostics –, and Dr. Prof. Hwang Sung Il of the Department of Radiology at Seoul National University in South Korea.

With the theme “Advances in image fusion-guided prostate biopsy: new techniques and transducers – why, how and when”, physicians will present and discuss the use of more modern and accurate technologies and transducers for biopsy procedures, the advancement of artificial intelligence applied to medical ultrasound systems and better characterization of new cases that, in general, have been diagnosed more quickly. The broadcast will be global to several countries such as Brazil, Chile, Egypt, United Kingdom, Argentina, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Philippines, India and South Korea, with content in English and subtitles in Portuguese to ensure public accessibility.
