Update (03/27/24) – JB
Samsung started distribution of the March security package for the Galaxy S20 line in the United States and other countries.
According to the changelog, the devices receive firmware version G98XUSQS8HXC1, which contains corrections for around 45 vulnerabilities found on Android.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the package weighs approximately 250 MB and also includes adjustments for flaws present in the Korean manufacturer’s proprietary interface.
As expected, this type of update is distributed in batches and may take a little longer to reach your smartphone.
Still, if you want to check availability, the path is simple:
Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
It is worth remembering that Samsung has already released the April package for the Galaxy S24 line and should start distributing One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S23 family starting tomorrow (03/28).
