Samsung Electronics is bringing its 1,090-square-meter gaming ecosystem exhibition to Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, running from August 26 to August 30. Led by Stephanie Choi, Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Brand Center, the company is showcasing monitors, mobile hardware, SSDs, and headsets under the banner of “#PlaySamsung” to provide hands-on experiences across PC, console, and mobile segments.
Hardware Lineup and the 2027 Odyssey Monitor Preview
Occupying a central role at the Cologne exhibition space, the Odyssey Zone brings together Samsung’s high-performance display hardware alongside data storage and audio peripherals. Visitors walking through the dedicated zone can test the latest Odyssey gaming monitors using titles such as Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert, and CD PROJEKT RED’s Cyberpunk 2077. These displays utilize HDR10+ GAMING to render high-contrast environments matching the visual intent of developers.
Furthermore, titles including Cyberpunk 2077 and Cronos: The New Dawn are available on the Odyssey 3D gaming monitor. Alongside these panels, Samsung is previewing its upcoming 2027 Odyssey monitor lineup and new portable solid-state drive products. Audio and storage performance are represented by the JBL Quantum 950 headset—engineered for competitive tournament environments—and the high-end 9100 Pro SSD, built to enhance gaming performance.
Mobile Gaming Architecture and Neural Frame Fusion
Mobile hardware takes center stage inside the Galaxy Zone, where attendees can evaluate the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Under the hood, these devices rely on a customized mobile processor: the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy. This specific silicon configuration handles demanding titles like Genshin Impact, Asphalt Legends, and Honor of Kings.
Samsung has introduced Neural Frame Fusion to the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8. This AI-powered technology generates pixels and frames in real time. By improving power efficiency in graphics processing, the hardware helps maintain high gaming performance for longer and enables a smoother and more stable gaming experience on Galaxy devices.
Cloud Streaming and Esports Partnerships
Beyond local rendering, Samsung is emphasizing cloud-based delivery models within the Gaming Hub Zone. Using the Samsung OLED TV S95H model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the JBL Quantum 650 headset, visitors can stream games directly through the Samsung Gaming Hub interface without requiring a physical console or local software installation.
Rounding out the exhibition footprint, Samsung has partnered with global esports team T1 to construct the T1 Zone. This collaborative space allows attendees to experience the interconnected utility of Samsung’s broader device portfolio.
