Samsung Unveils Tizen OS-Based 32-inch 4K Gaming Monitor Dragon Knight G7

Samsung introduced the Dragon Knight G7 S32BG704EC gaming monitor in China. A feature of the 32-inch novelty with support for 4K resolution is that it runs on the Tizen OS operating system. In fact, this is a smart monitor.

The manufacturer indicates for the Dragon Knight G7 the presence of an IPS-matrix with support for a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The screen has a response time of 1 ms (GtG), a contrast ratio of 1000: 1 and 95 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The display specifications also list DisplayHDR 400 certification and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync adaptive sync technologies.

The presence of the Tizen OS operating system gives the monitor support for various applications for streaming games and cloud gaming. In addition, the new product from Samsung supports the function of displaying content from the screens of mobile devices via a wireless connection.

The Samsung Dragon Knight G7 S32BG704EC is equipped with HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB Type-C connectors. The manufacturer notes that the display can be used with both PC and game consoles. The monitor received an ergonomic stand that allows you to change the height of the display above the table, its angle of inclination and rotation.

The Samsung Dragon Knight G7 S32BG704EC has already been listed on the Chinese online marketplace JD.com, where it is valued at about $717. The manufacturer will start shipping the monitor early next year.
