A rumor about a possible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold/Flip FE appeared and surprised. According to leaker Ravegnus no They’re all great phones, but they’re certainly not foldable.

Samsung has set the target price for the mid-range foldable at $400 to $500, which is equivalent to launching a product in the R$2,500 to R$3,000 range. That’s a very aggressive target. With this price range, Samsung should probably launch a FLIP-style product, to combat the already existing Motorola Razr 40, which is a cheaper product than the 40 Ultra. The question is how Samsung would launch a product under these price conditions, what features the manufacturer would be sacrificing to reduce the price of this phone so much. It would be a shame to see key Galaxy Z features like cameras, performance, or water resistance disappear in the name of cost savings.
There is no indication of when this foldable could be launched, other than its debut taking place in 2024. It could be launched together with the new Galaxy Z Fold and the Galaxy Z Flip, which happens in the middle of the year, or who knows Samsung invents one FLIP FE and holds a themed event for this new model.
