Samurai pleasing? Check out the notes for Like a Dragon: Ishin!

The Like a Dragon: Ishin! dropped, which means that reviews of the game have already started pouring in around the world! Launched in Japan for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation, the game now reaches the rest of the world with a remake made in Unreal Engine, also being released for current platforms.

So far, the title has a positive reception, despite not having such a high note on Metacritic. With 82 points on the Metascore, the game has 37 positive reviews and 3 mixed reviews, with no negative reviews recorded.

Featuring familiar faces from the Yakuza franchise, Like a Dragon: Ishin sees characters beloved by audiences taking on other roles in a plot set in feudal Japan.

In Ishin, Kiryu is Sakamoto Ryoma, a samurai who embarks on a journey of revenge and justice following being framed for a murder he didn’t commit. The game will be released on February 21st for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.

Like a Dragon: Ishin is a great samurai adventure

Despite stumbles in balancing and textures that leave something to be desired, the title manages to deliver a satisfying and fun journey, with great combat that remains varied throughout.
