Samurai Shodown was one of the games that got a small appearance during theEVO 2022 despite the absence of an official tournament. And exactly as Persona 4 Arena Ultimaxit was simply to talk regarding rollback, but with much more expectation in his case.
Samurai Shodown gets up to speed
When it came out, you mightn’t say that the very likeable Samurai Shodown stood out for the quality of its online. The game is now over three years old but it’s never too late apparently since the rollback will arrive via a free update in the spring of 2023.
SNK claims to have relied on the netcode of King of Fighters XV, which seems quite logical. And as is the tradition of fighting games with rollback, this will not concern the Switch version and will therefore be reserved for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series. And no mention of a possible season 4 which would revive the game a little.
