San Antonio Police Continue Search for Lina Sardar Khil – Call for Tips and Information

SAN ANTONIO – After 24 hours of searching in the case of Lina Sardar Khil in a wooded area behind an apartment complex, authorities indicated that the tip they received “was not credible.”

“After two days of following up on a possible tip received, the San Antonio Police Department and our partners exhausted all resources and determined that the tip was not credible. There are no further updates on the case,” a police spokesperson said.

Likewise, it was indicated that they will continue to follow up on each tip received in the Lina Sardar Khil case.

Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact the Special Victims Unit at 210-207-2313.

The search began this Thursday following authorities received information regarding the case at 9001 Wurzbach Rd., in the back of an apartment complex.

Two years have passed since the disappearance of Lina Sardar Khil, last seen playing in the park of an apartment complex in San Antonio.

Sardar Khil was last seen in the playground at the Villas del Cabo apartment complex, located northwest of the city at 9400 Fredericksburg Road.

According to the police, the mother left the minor playing and went into her apartment for a few minutes. When she returned, the girl was gone. It was reported that other children and several adults were in the play area, but no one might provide information regarding the little girl’s whereregardings.
