MEXICO CITY, September 28 (EL UNIVERSAL).- In a great match, Atlético San Luis came from behind to defeat Santos Laguna 3-1 in a match that closed the Saturday matchday of date 10 of Apertura 2024.
The match played at the Alfonso Lastra foreshadowed bad omens for the local team, as they found themselves down on the scoreboard with a goal from Santista Antony Lozano in the 14th minute after a steal of the ball and beating Andrés Sánchez.
Santos was better and the local team did not appear in front of its fans.
For the second 45 minutes came the expected reaction from San Luis, but in a spectacular way.
In the 49th minute, Oscar Macías finished with a solo header in the six-yard box to beat Carlos Acevedo and make it 1-1. Atlético was already better on the pitch.
Three minutes later, at 52, Luis Nájera, with another superb header goal, turned the score around and scored the second for the locals.
And San Luis went for more against a bewildered La Laguna team that no longer saw where they were attacking them.
But it was not until the 77th minute that Daniel Guillén closed the account with the third for San Luis with a beautiful scissors shot and beat Acevedo.
