“We always celebrate Christmas in the stable. But not like Josef and Maria. We call our event room a stable because pigs used to be bred here. We found a sign. The last piglets were born on July 7th, 1977. The Meierhof is then a long time It was empty for a while before we renovated it. At Christmas we have a big table, the whole family comes together. Up to 15 people live here on the farm. We three sisters, some with children. And another family who are friends. Our parents and the Urmi, that’s what we call our grandmother, are often there on the weekends. They have their own living area in the Meierhof.
