Asunción, IP Agency.- The Tesãi Foundation delivered modern digitalized X-ray equipment with a lower dose of radiation to the district hospital of Santa Rita, department of Alto Paraná, through an investment with its own funds that will benefit thousands of families from six districts and neighborhoods in the area south of Monday.
The radiological team has the capacity for greater daily productivity of images to provide better diagnosis and subsequent treatment to patients, reported the Ministry of Health.
The dental service also received the provision of equipment, supplies and materials. In addition, a new dental chair with all its accessories, dental x-ray equipment and supplies for various treatments are part of the improvements introduced to the hospital.
The strengthening of the imaging and dentistry service will be a direct benefit to families with limited economic resources who visit the referral establishment on a daily basis. The monetary investment of the Fundación Tesãi is 550 million guaraníes.

The director of the Santa Rita district hospital, Verónica Silvero, mentioned that they constitute the axis of the South Monday zone, in an area of influence that encompasses six surrounding districts. “We are level II of care, we are the only district hospital in the entire area, we cover six districts such as Naranjal, San Cristóbal, Raúl Peña, Iruña, Tavapy, Santa Rosa del Monday. On average, they serve 6,700 patients monthly in different services such as offices, emergencies, inpatients, procedures and outpatient clinics.
