The new CEO of Santé Québec will earn $567,000 per year, according to the Gazette officielle du Québec.
Whoever is appointed will see their salary increased by 15% for the first two years of their mandate for the establishment of Santé Québec. Which constitutes remuneration of $652,050.
Remember that Bill 15, which includes the creation of the Santé Québec agency, was adopted under a gag order on December 9.
The Minister of Health, Christian Dubé, had specified that the next CEO might come from the public network or the private sector.
