This image shows six of the solar system’s eight planets, from Mercury to Saturn. “Imagine standing on the sun and looking at the stars,” says Nour Raouafi of the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, project scientist for the Parker Solar Probe. “The combined portrait is awe-inspiring. Parker Solar Probe has given us a completely different perspective on where we are in the universe.”
