His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, met with His Excellency Counselor Dr. Hanafi Al-Jabali, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the sidelines of the 32nd Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, held in Cairo, under the title “Arab Solidarity”.
The meeting was attended by: Hamad Ahmed Al-Rahoumi, First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council, Nasser Muhammad Al-Yamahi, Obaid Khalfan Al-Ghoul Al-Salami, Naima Abdul Rahman Al-Mansoori, Ahmed Abdullah Al-Shehhi and Aisha Rashid Laytim, members of the Federal National Council, Dr. Omar Al-Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Council, and Afra Rashid Al-Basti, Assistant Secretary-General for Parliamentary Communication in the Council .
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Saqr Ghobash welcomed Chancellor Dr. Hanafi El-Gabali, Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, and his participation in the work of the 32nd Conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union, stressing that the Arab Republic of Egypt represents the house of all Arabs. He also valued the efforts and cooperation of the Egyptian House of Representatives in making this conference a success. .
His Excellency praised the vast achievements and developments made by Egypt under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations between the two brotherly countries and coordinating positions on various issues of common interest, foremost of which are Arab national security and Arab solidarity, and aspects of support, cooperation and coordination between the two sides in light of the distinguished and exceptional relations that bring the two countries together at various levels.
For his part, Chancellor Dr. Hanafi El-Gabali welcomed the visit of HE Saqr Ghobash and members of the delegation to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the establishment of the 32nd Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union in Cairo.
His Excellency the Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives praised his recent visit to the UAE, the size of the achievements and development he witnessed in the UAE, and its interest in the human being and his development, all thanks to the wise leadership that was able to move the UAE to a distinguished position referred to in the world and its inspiring role in encouraging innovation and creativity and keeping pace with developments. and modern technologies, as he referred in this context to his visit to the Expo 2020 Dubai, in which 195 countries are participating.
His Excellency Dr. Hanafi Al-Jabali stressed the depth of the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, appreciating the UAE’s support for Egypt in the most difficult circumstances, and noted that Egypt is entering a new phase after eliminating terrorism and moving to reconstruction.
His Excellency Saqr Ghobash stressed the stability of the UAE’s firm position and support for the Arab Republic of Egypt, as it is a mainstay and pillar of Arab national security.
