Satena to launch new route with Venezuela (+DATE)

Colombian airline Satena will launch a new connecting route from Camilo Daza International Airport in Cúcuta to Venezuela.

According to reports, this route will have as a bridge the La Chinita International Airport, in Maracaibo, Zulia state.

Colombian media reported that it will begin operating on September 3, facilitating the flow of passengers and strengthening ties between both nations.

Flights on this new route will be operated twice a week using an Embraer 145, an aircraft with capacity for fifty seats configured in a single class.

  • Flight 9R 8906 will depart from Cúcuta at 09:25 am, arriving in Maracaibo at 11:19 am
  • The return flight, 9R 8910, will take off from Maracaibo at 11:50 am and land in Cúcuta at 11:51 am

Through its account on the social network X, dgaviación also confirmed the new operations.

“SATENA will begin flights between Cucuta and Maracaibo starting on September 3,” the publication reads.
