The Saat-Chi duo became number one for the first time last year when they became the champions of the Hangzhou Asian Games. She played as world number two in the last India Open. They lost in a thrilling final to world champions Kang Min Hyuk-Seo Sang Jae.
In singles, Malayalee HS Prannoy returned to the world number 8 position. Lakshya Sen (19), Kidambi Srikanth (25) and Priyanshu Rajawat (30) are right behind.
