The Saudi newspaper, “Al-Riyadia”, said earlier that Al-Ahly agreed with Asiri to renew in exchange for an annual salary of 1.8 million Saudi riyals.
According to the newspaper, many clubs asked to borrow Asiri in the current summer Mercato, especially after Al-Ahly’s relegation, but the club’s management stuck to the player and convinced him to renew.
Haitham Asiri is considered one of the most prominent emerging talents in the Saudi League, as he is 21 years old, and was promoted to the first team in 2020 when he is only 19 years old.
