Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Social media activists shared pictures of a restored street by adding new “asphalt” around a car parked on the side of the road, which sparked interaction.
The Emirate of Makkah Region, and on its official account on the social networking site Twitter, published a picture of the asphalted street around the car, with a comment in which it quoted the Municipality of Jeddah Region as saying that the latter “explains that the asphalt works in one of the internal streets are a mistake by the contractor.”
And the Municipality added in the tweet: “He was assigned to re-asphalting the entire street with a length of 100 meters, while the necessary procedures will be completed once morest the port.”
The secretariat did not provide additional details of the location of the street concerned or the contractor.
