Saudi Arabia and Japan qualify for Qatar World Cup

Riyadh | Saudi Arabia and Japan qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022. Both countries qualified for the third round of the Asian Zone Group B match. Japan topped Group B with 21 points following beating Australia by two goals in a qualifier in Sydney. This is the seventh consecutive time Japan has qualified for the World Cup.

In Group B, Saudi Arabia qualified with 19 points. With this, Saudi Arabia became the first Arab team to qualify for the World Cup six times. The Saudi qualifier has excited football fans across the country.
