Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists on social media circulated a video clip of Saudi Prince Badr Abdul Mohsen and what he said about the existence of a “divine thing” with the arrival of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the Kingdom.
In the circulating video, the prince said: “God judged the kingdom with a person named Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, who appears at this time because the kingdom needs change… I prefer that there is something divine, why? For reasons….”
He continued, “Prince Muhammad came at a time when we were counting the years that would suffice us and the depleted oil wealth, and we started saying such-and-such.
It is noteworthy that Politico newspaper has sparked a wide interaction recently with a report on the popularity of the Saudi Crown Prince on the sidelines of US President Joe Biden’s visit to the Kingdom, in which it said: “Despite the steady progress made by the two sides (the American and Saudi) at the level of work, Biden’s continued refusal to normalize relations with MBS has had an impact – particularly on the Saudi public, which felt disrespected by personal attacks against the crown prince, who remained very popular in his country.
