Saudi Arabia is attracting constructive partnerships to develop the mining sector

Mark Bristow, CEO of Barrick Gold Group, stressed the role that Saudi Arabia plays in attracting constructive partnerships with the aim of developing the mining sector, including positive developments that make it a leader in business.

He added, on the sidelines of his participation in the International Mining Conference in Riyadh, that his company has had investments in Saudi Arabia for some time and it has been a constructive relationship for him during the past three years to participate in the changes taking place. He continued, “My work has been built on partnerships, and as we can see Saudi Arabia has become a leader in challenging the world on how to do business, and many topics that should have been more focused on were discussed in Cop 26.”

He pointed out that “if you want to become a pioneer in the field of mining, especially for future generations, partnerships must include the leadership of the countries hosting these wealth. We have partnerships with the Kingdom and Ma’aden, and we seek to build on these relationships.”
